FAQ
Straight answers
The questions that actually come up before signing up — pricing, the trial, what setup really involves, data ownership, support and cancellation.
Pricing & plans
How much does FlyFawz cost?
Every plan is paid — there is no permanently-free tier. You get a free trial first, then pick Starter, Pro or Enterprise. Current pricing for each is on the pricing page, billed monthly or yearly. Your FlyFawz subscription is billed through FlyFawz's own Stripe, entirely separate from the money your customers pay you.
What actually changes between the plans?
Mainly three things: the monthly booking cap, how many of the premium page templates you can apply, and your monthly AI-chat message allowance — all higher on Pro than Starter, and unlimited on Enterprise. Custom domains, your own Stripe and Duffel keys, the full admin panel, analytics and the monthly report are on every plan, including Starter.
Does FlyFawz sell travel or handle customer payments?
No. FlyFawz only provides software. We do not sell flights, tours, packages or any other travel service, and we are not a payment processor. Each agency is the seller of record for its own travel products and its own customers, and connects its own payment gateway account (Stripe) so that traveller payments go directly to the agency. FlyFawz never receives, holds or transfers traveller funds. The only thing FlyFawz bills is a software subscription, charged to the agency. How gateway integration works →
Do you take a percentage of my bookings?
No. Your agency’s customers pay your agency directly through its own payment gateway account, and FlyFawz is never a party to the transaction. Your agency pays FlyFawz a software subscription fee; you keep 100% of what your customers pay you, minus your gateway’s own processing fees, which go to the gateway, not us.
The free trial
How long is the trial and do I need a card?
The trial is 3 days by default and needs no credit card. It starts the moment your account is created (after you click the email verification link).
What can I do during the trial?
The whole product. Flight search works during the trial using FlyFawz’s shared Duffel test keys — for searching only; no real flights are booked. To sell flights, every agency connects its own Duffel account. You have not chosen a paid plan yet — the trial is a "pick a plan when ready" state.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you've chosen a plan, nothing changes except that flight search now needs your own Duffel key. If you haven't chosen a plan, your storefront and admin panel are restricted — you can still reach Plan, Settings and Support — until you pick one. See How it works.
Setup requirements
Do I need my own Stripe account?
Yes — your agency connects its own payment gateway (Stripe) so its customers can pay it. There is no shared gateway account. Until you connect a valid Stripe key, checkout is disabled — customers can browse and submit inquiries but can't pay. How gateway integration works →
Do I need my own Duffel account?
Yes, if you sell flights — every agency connects its own Duffel account and API key. During the trial, FlyFawz’s shared Duffel test keys cover flight search only and do not create real bookings. After the trial, or on a paid plan, you connect your own key. Duffel’s onboarding — including any airline approvals — is between you and Duffel and can take a few days, so start it early.
Is it really "no developer needed"?
For everything except WhatsApp, yes — connecting Stripe, Duffel and SMTP is pasting keys from those providers' dashboards, and the storefront is templates and settings with live previews. WhatsApp is the exception and is genuinely more involved.
Custom domains
Can I use my own domain, and on which plan?
Yes, on every plan including Starter. You add a CNAME and a TXT ownership record, click Verify, and HTTPS is issued automatically. Full details →
How long does the HTTPS certificate take?
It is requested the first time a browser hits your verified domain, and provisioning usually takes a couple of minutes. Combined with DNS propagation (which can take longer depending on your provider), expect the domain to be fully working within a few minutes to a few hours of adding the records — not instantly.
Data & ownership
Who owns my bookings and customer data?
You do. Every agency is an isolated tenant — your catalogue, bookings, customers, conversations and settings are scoped to your tenant and are never visible to another agency. FlyFawz operates the platform; the business data belongs to your agency.
How are the API keys I paste in stored?
Every third-party secret is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it's written to the database, with a per-value random IV. Secrets are never shown back to you — only the last four characters. More on security →
Can FlyFawz staff access my account?
Only through an explicit, time-limited support-access session that is logged, and even then sensitive actions like changing your billing relationship or your password are blocked. There is no silent back door.
Support & cancellation
How do I get support?
Every admin panel has a live chat straight to FlyFawz’s team built into it — not a ticket queue. It’s socket-backed and real-time. This is separate from the support tools you offer your own customers (contact forms, your storefront AI chat, your WhatsApp).
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You can cancel your FlyFawz subscription at any time. Because payments run through your agency’s own gateway account and your data belongs to your tenant, cancelling stops the platform subscription — it does not touch your Stripe account or your customers’ payment history.
Still have a question? Start the free trial and ask it in the live support chat inside your admin panel — or read the feature articles for the full detail on any system.
